Meet Congresswoman

Celeste Maloy

Congresswoman Celeste Maloy proudly represents Utah’s 2nd Congressional District and is a proven conservative leader. In Congress, she is working every day to help families keep more of their hard-earned money, secure our border, defend Utah values, and hold Washington accountable to the people it serves.

Celeste was raised in a working-class household, where she learned the values that still guide her today: hard work, personal responsibility, and service to others.

She earned her undergraduate degree from Southern Utah University and her law degree from BYU’s J. Reuben Clark Law School. Celeste spent years living and working in rural Utah, where she witnessed how federal policies affect Utahns’ daily lives. It was from this experience that she felt driven to ensure Utahns had a strong voice in how laws and regulations impacted their lives and businesses.

After law school, Celeste served as a Deputy County Attorney in Washington County, a Public Lands Attorney for the Utah Association of Counties, and a Staff Attorney for the Washington County Water Conservancy District. Celeste built a career as an attorney and policy expert focused on solving issues that Utahns face.

Prior to serving in Congress, Celeste spent years shaping and advancing conservative policy in Congress as the Chief Legal Counsel to Congressman Chris Stewart. In this role, she earned Congressman Stewart’s trust. Congressman Stewart later endorsed Celeste to replace him in Congress because he knew she was the conservative leader our district needed.

Celeste lives in Southern Utah and is deeply committed to working hard every day to deliver results that benefit Utah families.
